There are over 30,000 ads published daily in LoQUo so whenever you put up an ad you should try to include as much information as possible. We are sure someone is looking for what you have to offer, so in order for your ad to be found easily you should try to leave as many references as you can so that people can distinguish it from the rest.
The ads shouldn't be generic; each and every ad should correspond specifically to something. When you offer all the necessary details, you help the users decide if your ad interests them or not, without wasting your time or theirs.
Make sure that all your contact information is correct, because even though many people are possibly interested in your ad you may never find out...
LoQUo is a local community, with the objective of helping people that live in the same city or geographic region reach one another. That's why it's so important that you publish your ad in the region where you are at. Since more ads are published in Barcelona than any other region, our homepage (http://www.loquo.com/en_us) has Barcelona set as the default city.
In the left column you will find a list of all the cities where LoQUo is present. Simply click on your city and you will be redirected to its home page and you will be able to publish in the right location.
*If your city is not in our list, choose the city nearest you and in the "location" field put the city where you are at.
How can I make my ad stand out?
LoQUo has a variety of options to make your ad more noticeable:

Add pictures to your ad
Don't forget that sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words!
When you are writing your ad you will notice below the text box there is the option of adding pictures. Simply click Browse, and choose in your own documents the photo you would like to publish and click "open".
Remember, the image may not be larger then 500kb and it must be in .jpg, .gif or .png format and there is a limit of 4 pictures per ad. If you need to reduce the size of your picture, a simple way of doing it is using the Paint program. Open the image with the Paint program click on Image on the menu toolbar then and select stretch/skew and change the percentages and don't forget to make sure the format is a compatible one (.jpg, .gif or .png).
Please note that some categories don't permit you to upload pictures. You may not upload pictures in language exchange, babysitting/ elder care, ride sharing/travel, volunteers/ nonprofit, general community, for sale-wanted, job offers or seek employment/CV.

Pinpoint your location
When you are composing your ad, just below the text box you will find in bold letters "Add Map". To guarantee that the map will be precise we recommend you to first look up the correct address in Google Maps and copy and paste it to the "location" field so that our system will display it correctly.
By adding a map the users will be able to view the zone of where you are posting your ad, if the ad is a housing ad, the user may benefit from the map by viewing its nearby commerce and public transportation stops.

Put a price
Everyone likes to know from the beginning the real price of a service or item they will acquire.
You may use PayPal as a secure payment method. However if you don't trust an ad you may look at our Scam-Frauds Alert section or check out our Greatest Hits to get more information about our user experience.

Double check the contact information you publish
If you don't insert your contact information correctly it will be impossible for a user to reach you and after all publishing your ad won't be of any use.
Publishing your contact information correctly assures that your ad won't be reported and erased by our flag system. Also remember that publishing third party personal information is strictly forbidden in LoQUo even though sometimes it might be just a simple typing error, it can really have a negative effect on people; for that reason we please ask you to double and even triple check that your contact information is correct.
LoQUo is divided into two parts, one part is composed of only ad listings and the other part is our community (Forums, Images, and Events).
If you'd like to express an opinion, talk or warn the community you may do so at our Forum and in our Help and Suggestions section you may share your thoughts with the community and the administration. Please abstain from writing personal opinions and stories in our ad section of the page. This way LoQUo can maintain a certain amount of order and be useful for everyone, and if we all cooperate a little we'll make sure everyone gets the most from the page!
