Project Manager with Accounts Receivable experience (Barcelona)

US company based in Barcelona, rated in the Top 100 Best Companies to work for Worldwide, are looking to hire a:

Project Manager with experience in Accounts Receivable and In-depth knowledge of the Public Health Care market/Hospitals in Spain

Key responsibilities:

• Identification of issues and process gaps which lead to poor acceptance rate of invoices in hospitals


• Drives clarification of old and new issues with unpaid invoices (especially Sales, Inside Sales and Accounting)


• Propose actions on invoice / debtor basis to decide on necessary steps (write off, actions to collect cash)


• Proactively reports, prepares and drives status review meetings with leadership, sales and finance functions


• Identify and effectively communicates suggestions for internal process improvements in invoicing, collection and cash application processes (e.g. avoid missing documents, PO’s, credit notes clear in future)

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of the Public Health Care Market / Hopitals in Spain from a supplier point of view;


• Both customer service, accounts receivable process knowledge


• Excellent communication, driver and project management skills


• Result oriented, outgoing and self motivated


• Fluent in English and Spanish


• National and International travel required (10% max)

 Project Timeframe: 1 year
