Senior Java EE Developer; JSF, Ajax, Web services, Hibernate, JPA, Agile

We are currently looking for a Senior Java (Java EE) Developer to strengthen our team, located in Barcelona, working on our web-based enterprise java system for the management and analytics of our powerful multi-channel customer service solutions.

You are a senior java developer with extensive experience of working in an enterprise system development environment.

You have proven experience with Java Server Faces (JSF) and Ajax frameworks.
You have a strong quality focus and are proficient with unit, integration and system testing.

You will participate in the development of all layers of a Java Enterprise Edition platform with main focus on user interface development and user experience.

You will be involved in the full development cycle, from analysis and design to implementation and testing.

You will be working in an international team adopting Agile methodologies.

Required skills and qualifications

• At least five years of work experience in the above mentioned fields
• University degree or equivalent in computer science, computer engineering or similar technical field
• Strong Object oriented analysis and modeling skills
• Strong Java EE skills
• Strong skills in Java Server Faces (JSF) and Ajax.
• Good skills in Web services, JPA, Hibernate
• Good database skills (modeling, SQL)
• Experience with Java tools and technologies: Ant, JUnit
• Experience with database servers: e.g. Microsoft SQL server
• Experience from Agile methodologies is a plus

You are an excellent team player, and can also work autonomously. Your work is well structured and thoroughly documented. You speak English fluently. Other languages as Swedish and Spanish are merits.
