American Company serves customers in industrial, energy, technology and healthcare markets worldwide with a unique portfolio of atmospheric gases, process and specialty gases, performance materials, and equipment and services.
The company opened a pan-European Shared Services Centre in Barcelona in 2007. The centre houses most of the company's European accounting function, some European logistics planning activities, as well as the European customer master data team.
Job Title BACK OFFICE BILLING ADMINISTRATOR SOUTHERN
Reporting To: Southern Back Office Billing Supervisor
Department: Customer Engagement
Purpose: To execute all tasks and activities associated with billing, including issuing
invoices, resolving customer billing complaints and processing billing
adjustments.
Languages: Fluent Spanish and/or Portuguese.
Proficient knowledge of English is essential, other EU languages will be a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
· Responsible for timely processing and closure of customer billing complaints in the Southern region.
To support customer service and customer engagement departments in SP+PT
To assure that invoices and credit notes are processed on a timely basis.
To support and execute the e-invoicing for the Southern region.
To assure that the monthly agents commission is calculated.
· Contribution to resolve operation related issues raised by Southern customer service mgmt. and business.
· Authority to enter Credit notes and re-Invoicing within empowerment conditions and guidelines, linked to SAP rules.
· Adhere to the key performance indicators.
· Ensure SOX compliance and performing SOX tests.
Education and Experience required:
Knowledge
· Fluent in Spanish and / or Portuguese. Proficient knowledge of English.
Knowledge of any other European language would be beneficial.But is not essential.
· SAP
· Microsoft office
· Understand accounting principles (credit- debit)
Experience
· Working experience in an international environment, Customer Services Help Desk or a Customer Engagement department
· Ability to provide accurate excecution of all tasks
· Excellent interpersonal and communicative skills, verbally and written
· Ability to adhere to the established processes and to adapt to process changes
· Ability to manage and prioritize daily, weekly, monthly workload
· SAP experience.
