ETHNODELIC JAM TODAY (BARCELONA)

Every Monday starting at 21:30 hs, Mariposa Lunar is pleased to invite you to our ethnodelic jams, in the “Café da Madeira”, Via Laietana 6 <M> Jaume I.

This is a Jam oriented to experimental, psychedelic and ethnic music..

The idea is to improvise based on nothing more than spontaneity; excluded versions, standards, scores, pre-set patterns, and everything that is based in an idea or prior knowledge to what happens in the session. As the only exception, if somebody wants, he can play their own compositions. The backing band will be in all cases "Mariposa Lunar".

Although all the instruments and instrumentalists are welcome, priority is given to ethnic, weird, self-built, modified, or sound processed instruments, and musicians interested in developing a style based on experimentation and personal taste. Are also welcome performances, art pertaining to disciplines that are not strictly musicals, exhibitions, theater, and everything that involves a sample of creativity by participants and can be coordinated with musical activity. It is not an evaluation of technique, taste or knowledge, but an exposition of one's imagination in an emotive way.
