Volunteers for those cats affected by the AVE (St.Andreu-St Martí-Eixample)

SOS GATS is an association created to protect stray cats. It was born with the objective of helping cats in Sant Martí, Sant Andreu and Eixample (BCN) and especially those affected by the works for the AVE.

Nowadays, those cats affected by the AVE are living in colonies in Sant Andreu, Sant Martí and Eixample, and we need volunteers. The tasks to carry out are mainly feeding and cleaning the cat houses.

We are also rescuing those cats that are becoming homeless due to the improvements being carried out in the Poble Nou neighbourhood. We need volunteers to catch, neuter, test and relocate them in order to improve their living conditions.

We also need foster houses as the number of abandonments increases in summer and we have no room left for them.

If you want to help these cats but you have no time to volunteer, a good way to help them is to become a member or sponsor one of our cats or donating things such as towels scratch trees, beds or dry food.
