At Artificial Solutions we create solutions that help our clients automate their customer support. Some of our clients that use our solutions are IKEA, Swedish Customs and Vodafone. We have offices in Stockholm, Barcelona, Hamburg, Copenhagen and Paris and are about 100 employees. The office in Barcelona is situated close to Plaza Tetuan on calle Caspe.

 

JAVA DEVELOPER

 

We are currently looking for an intern to strengthen our development team.

We are offering an international environment with challenging projects.

 

You will be part of a team working in the Products development department, based in our Barcelona office, developing applications and tools for ensuring the quality of our projects.

 

The position includes:

 

·          Developing tools in Java

·          Improving existing tools

·          Working with ddbb modeling and programming

·          Working with XML, HTML, CSS and Javascript

·          Creating documentation and manuals and Intranet pages about tech issues

·          Working in technical methodology, standards and QA

 

 

Essential skills:

 

·          Java development: J2SE

·          Object oriented design and modeling

·          Knowledge of at least one of the following Java tools: Netbeans, Eclipse, Ant

·          Database programming

·          Web technologies: HTML, CSS, Javscript

·          Good knowledge of English

 

To be a successful candidate you are self-motivated (work autonomously) as well as a good team player who enjoys fast changes. Your work is well structured and thoroughly documented.
